Who We Are
Kalinchowk Cow Farm and Research Center Pvt. Ltd. is a pioneering agricultural enterprise located in Dolakha, Bhimeshwor Municipality Ward No. 8. Established with a vision to transform Nepal's livestock sector, it stands as the country's first agriculture Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model farm, creating a strong collaboration between public institutions, community stakeholders, and private sector investors, including its connection with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB).
The farm is dedicated to advancing modern dairy farming practices through research, innovation, and sustainable livestock management. It focuses heavily on high-quality cattle breeding, utilizing improved genetic techniques to enhance milk production and overall herd health. Currently, the farm has achieved impressive productivity, with cows producing more than 35 liters of milk per day.
Our Vision & Impact
Kalinchowk Cow Farm and Research Center aims to become one of the largest and most advanced cow farms in South Asia. Its long-term vision includes expanding its herd capacity, integrating modern technologies, and establishing itself as a center of excellence for dairy research and training.
Beyond production, the farm plays a vital role in economic and social development. It is committed to contributing significantly to the nation's GDP by strengthening the dairy industry and reducing dependency on imported dairy products. At the same time, it actively supports local communities by creating employment opportunities, providing training and technical knowledge to farmers, and ensuring access to quality dairy products.
